Waikiki Shore Beach Condominiums...
This mid-century icon is the only condominium property located directly on the sand in Waikiki. It is a 15 story, 169 unit building that caters to resident owners, along with long and short term renters. Rooms are rented through 12+ different property managers. Castle Resorts operates the front desk on site to help their guests while most other agents meet their guests in the relaxing lobby.
Waikiki Shore was originally finished in 1962. In December of 2023, a major refresh of the lobby was completed which opened a solid concrete wall to breathtaking views of Ft. Derussy and Waikiki Beach. This incredible transformation was possible thanks to the Owners, the Board, Building Manager Randy Ahlo, Wilhelm Group's Lance Wilhelm, Architect Wayne Goo, JMK Engineers, Elliott Construction Group, Sam Kivett Design and many others that worked behind the scene. We are so grateful for their vision and tremendous efforts.

Charles Montgomery-Congratulations on the 2025 Top Cop Award!
It is my honor to congratulate Charles Montgomery for the 2025 Top Cop Award! Charles has been the longest-serving employee at Waikiki Shore Beach Condominiums and continues to be one of the most dependable and exemplary members of our security team. As the current Building Manager for the past year and a half, and with more than 20 years in the hospitality industry, I can say without hesitation that I have never come across an employee as steady, reliable, and professional as Charles. His calm and cool demeanor in handling emergencies has been a constant reassurance for our staff, residents, and guests alike.
Because of his long tenure and deep knowledge of our property, Charles is the go-to person in any crisis. He is highly skilled in operating and troubleshooting our security systems and can quickly identify and document unlawful activity with precision. His quick action and knowledge have been vital in maintaining safety and order in our busy beachfront property. Charles not only serves Waikiki Shore with excellence but also lends his professionalism to another large high-rise property, further demonstrating his commitment to protecting our community. Guests and owners consistently speak highly of him, praising his approachable manner, dedication, and integrity. I have complete confidence every time Charles is on shift, knowing that the property is in the best possible hands.
For his long-standing commitment, professionalism, and outstanding service, we should feel proud that Charles Montgomery has received the 2025 Top Cop Award. He is truly deserving of this recognition.

NOTICES
Water Shut offs. There will be water shut offs for repairs Friday, November 21, 2025.
Date: Friday, 11/21/2025 9am – 12pm Units Ending In 05, 06, 08, PH3, PH4, PH5
There will be no water in the kitchens & bathrooms. Please see the attachment for more information and be sure to inform your guests and employees. If you are in a rental program your rental agent has been copied.
Please do not use the bathroom or kitchen and do not put water down the drains, washer, leave faucet on, or flush toilets during this period. Please be sure taps are always closed after use.
Electrical work. There will be an entire building ELECTRICAL and Hot Water shutdown on Dec. 4th from 11 p.m. to 4 a.m. This is necessary for the replacement of the building's two older 200 amp switches. Click the button above for more details. We scheduled the time to be less inconvenient for everyone.
STR Property Tax Information. Above is an informational letter to owners from our recent Board Meeting on 1-15-2025 regarding STR Property Tax Updates. If you are in a rental program, your rental agent also received this information.
High Risk Infrastructure Reports. Individual High-Risk Infrastructure Reports went out for units in September. A big MAHALO to all of you that have addressed all the items. If you haven't, this is a reminder to please correct any issues within the timeline requested:
“F” faults - 90 days from the notice (These were due in December.)
“C” as concerns - 1 year from the date of the notice
Our office stands ready to assist with any detailed explanations or referrals needed. After repairs, Owners or Rental Agents should submit a copy of the paid invoice(s) itemizing the work performed as proof of correction.

Beach Clean-ups. Waikiki Shore holds Beach Clean-Ups are held every 1st Friday of the month at Noon together with Outrigger. Anyone interested can stop by the AOAO office to pick up supplies and join in. Please see above flyer.
